MY works took form in line with my concerns around the gender issues and in agreement with the course of my life. To transmit the concepts, I looked for a medium such as textile and sewing which were not separate from me and my past
I chose textile since it had a "character" that would be elastic, could be torn apart, could become shapeless, wrinkled, stained , sewn and striped. It could easily burn and take form, could be stitched but did not break or fall apart; and still preserved its specific sensitivity
Searching meanings such as fragility, pain, violence, trauma, wound and restitutions to the body was possible using this material and clothes. In particular, in men's coats this represents the power, masculinity and force, Besides the textiles, I used the "feminine" stitches and sewing which are delicate, sensitive and refined. The exchange between these two spaces, was very interesting and close to my concerns and worries
